Blusher

Blusher has been around for centuries. It is the best and easiest product to use for a quick skin pick me up, so get that healthy glow on your skin.

Blusher usually comes in four different types:-

Powder Blusher – is a powder base with colour pigment added, and is the most popular type. Applied with a large soft brush, it gives skin a dusting of colour and keeps a natural look. It is suited to all skin types but is particularly beneficial to oily skins.

Start by applying to the fullest part of the cheeks, directly below the centre of your eyes, then smile and brush over your cheekbones, and up towards your temples. Blend the colour well as you sweep the brush up towards your hairline. This way you are adding colour to the areas of your face that would naturally blush.

Cream Blusher – is colour pigment set in a cream base? It gives skin a luminous, natural glow. It glides easily onto the skin which makes it a good choice if your skin is dry, but it’s not well suited to oily skin as it will not wear well. Also if your skin has large pores it will accentuate them.

To apply, use your finger tips to add a few small dots over your cheeks, from the plump part up towards your cheekbone. Blend well and gradually add more and build up the colour to the desired effect.

Liquid Blusher – is a liquid that stains the skin and works well with all skin types. Due to its staining quality it must be blended quickly, using your fingertips or a sponge. It is usually waterproof so it will last all day.

Gel Blusher – is silicone particles containing colour pigments. You can smooth it onto bare skin to produce a sheer, translucent glow or apply after foundation and before powder to give a long lasting and very natural finish.
